AGHNAR AND ODA

NeesteneTex
March 13, 2015

After his father’s death, Aghnar is left on his own and so he ends up on planet of flying apes… since he can fly too, he befriends them eventually becoming their leader. I’m not telling you how he did that – read the damn books.

But I will tell you why love this character so much.

In my artistic musings and endeavors, I made films. Just shorts and experimental stuff, but I always wanted to make big movies. Particularly I wanted to make one scene – that of how Aghnar and his wife Oda met.

“He stubles across Oda by accident whle scaning the uni\verse, and falls in love the second he lays his eyes on her. Oda was in fact based in looks and behavior on Jodorowskys cousin, whom he was madly in love with.

Oda is a daughter of a king of one of the planets in Galactic Empire, but she doesn’t want to get married as she only wants to give her self to a man that can bring her a blue rose – a legendary flower that does not exist.

King then puts a tender of sorts and invites suitors from all over the galaxy. The award for those who bring the blue rose is kingdom and Oda, for those who are refused, the punishment is death.

And so thousands flock to impress the princess, and one among this crowd is Aghnar. But since Aghnar does not care about the whole charade, he shows up empty handed and when asked where is rose is, he flies to her balcony, asks Oda to connect with his and out of their union creates a rose with his mind (he’s that good in psychic powers – his mum was a witch after all)

King is delighted, offers him knigdon but Aghnar refuses. When asked what can he offer Ods he replies – nothing – just a blue rose. King orders guards to kill him, but Oda is already crazy about Aghnar and togheter they flee the kingdom.

Now there is one special thing about Oda I will not tell you about – read the books

Oda will bear son to Aghnar, but due to circumstances that involve Agnars – not so dead – mother, Aghnar cuts the baby’s head off.

This head is later replaced with a cybernetic part (see the pattern here?) and becomes the Steelhead – The most brutal of all Metabarons.

And his story is fucking insane… probably the most insane of all.
